Legal Notice
This notice sets out who operates majesticstudios.ai, what you may do with the material on it, and the limits of our responsibility for it.
01Site operator
This website is operated by Majestic Studios. You can contact us at majesticaicinema@gmail.com.
Majestic Studios is a production studio founded by Jonathan Laramy. It produces educational and historical film content, and it operates the YouTube channels Majestic Studios and Chloe VS History.
02Use of this website
You may look at this website and download or print pages from it for your own personal or internal business use. You must not use this website in a way that damages it, interrupts it, or makes it unavailable to other people. You must not try to get access to any part of the website, or to any server or database connected to it, that is not made available to you.
03Intellectual property
All content on this website belongs to us or to our licensors. This includes the text, the film and video material, the still images, the artwork, the reconstructions, the characters, the logos, the design and the source code. This material is protected by copyright, trade mark and other rights.
You must not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, sell, adapt or make derivative works from this material without our written permission. You must not remove or change any copyright notice or credit.
The names Majestic Studios and Chloe VS History, and the Majestic Studios mark, are trade marks of Majestic Studios. Other product and company names on this website may be the trade marks of their owners, and they are shown only to identify those companies.
04Third-party names, logos and material
Where the logo, name or mark of a broadcaster, publication or organisation is shown on this website, it is shown to record that our work was reported on or featured by that organisation. It does not mean that the organisation endorses, sponsors or is connected with Majestic Studios.
Historical source material is used for research, reference and comment. If you own rights in material shown on this website and you think it is used incorrectly, write to us at majesticaicinema@gmail.com and we will look into it.
05Historical content and accuracy
Our films are researched before they are written and checked before they are produced. Some of the images are reconstructions: they show how a place, an object or an event is thought to have looked, and they are made with production tools that include artificial intelligence.
A reconstruction is an interpretation, not a photograph of a real event. Historical understanding also changes as new evidence appears. So we give the content on this website for general information and education only. Do not use it as the only source for academic, professional or commercial decisions. If you think something is wrong, tell us and we will correct it.
06Links to other websites
This website contains links to websites operated by other people, for example video platforms and online shops. We give these links for your convenience. We do not control those websites and we are not responsible for their content, their products or their privacy practices. Read the terms and the privacy policy of each website you visit.
07Limits of our responsibility
We do our best to keep this website accurate and available, but we do not promise that it is free of errors or that it will always be available. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for loss or damage that results from your use of this website, from your reliance on its content, or from the website being unavailable.
Nothing in this notice limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that the law does not let us limit.
08Changes to this notice
We can change this notice at any time. The version on this page is the version that applies. The date at the top of the page shows when we last changed it.
09Governing law
This notice, and any dispute that comes from it or from your use of this website, is governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.

Privacy Policy
We collect as little personal information as we can, we tell you what we do with it, and we do not sell it.
01Who is responsible
Majestic Studios is the controller of the personal data described in this policy. For any question about privacy, write to majesticaicinema@gmail.com.
02What we collect
- Information you send us. When you use the enquiry form, we collect your name, your email address, your organisation if you give it, the enquiry category you choose, and the content of your message.
- Information from email. If you write to us directly, we hold your message and your address so that we can reply.
- Technical information. Our hosting provider records standard server data, such as the IP address, the browser type, the pages requested and the date and time. This keeps the website secure and available.
- Embedded content. Video players and other embedded services can set their own identifiers. Section 06 explains this.
We do not ask for special category data (for example health, religion or political opinion). Please do not send it to us.
03Why we use it, and our legal basis
- To answer your enquiry and to discuss possible work. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before a contract, or our legitimate interest in replying to the people who contact us.
- To run and protect the website. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a secure, working website.
- To meet our legal and accounting duties. Legal basis: legal obligation.
- To send updates, only if you ask for them. Legal basis: your consent. You can withdraw it at any time.
04We do not sell your data
We never sell, rent or trade personal data. We do not use the information you send through this website for advertising profiles.
05Who we share it with
We share personal data only with service providers who help us run the studio, and only as much as they need. These are typically our website host, our email provider, our form and analytics tools, and our accountants. Each one acts on our instructions under a written agreement.
We also disclose data where the law requires it, or where it is necessary to protect our rights, our safety or the safety of others.
Some of these providers operate outside the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area. Where data is transferred, we rely on an adequacy decision or on standard contractual clauses with appropriate safeguards.
06Cookies and embedded services
This website does not set advertising cookies of its own. It can set a small number of strictly necessary items in your browser so that the page works correctly, for example to remember that the opening film has already played in this session.
Pages that show videos load a player from a third-party platform when you click to play. That platform can then set its own cookies and receive your IP address, under its own privacy policy. To avoid this, do not start the embedded players.
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the website may then not work as intended.
07How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not lead to work: up to 24 months, then deleted.
- Client and project records: for the length of the project and then as long as our legal, tax and accounting duties require, normally six years.
- Server logs: a short period set by our hosting provider, normally no more than 12 months.
08How we protect it
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encrypted connections to this website, access controls and a small number of authorised people. No transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
09Your rights
Under the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
- ask us to correct data that is wrong or incomplete;
- ask us to delete your data;
- ask us to restrict how we use it, or object to our use of it;
- ask us to transfer your data to you or to another controller;
- withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on consent.
To use any of these rights, write to majesticaicinema@gmail.com. We answer within one month. There is no charge.
If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk, or to the supervisory authority in your country.
10Children
Our films are made for a general audience and are often watched by young people, but this website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 13. If you think a child has sent us personal data, write to us and we will delete it.
11Changes to this policy
We can update this policy. The date at the top of the page shows when we last changed it. If a change is significant, we will make that clear on this page.
